Just putting the finishing touches on LongestGame4CF.com — a web-portal built for Reddy for a Cure’s fundraising event to break the Guinness World Records for the longest ice hockey game!
The website was built with WordPress and the BuddyPress plugin. I have built quite a few websites with WordPress before but this was my first time using BuddyPress. I can say that I am beyond impressed with the plugin; very simple to use and great results both functionaly and esthetically.

Take a deep breath and get Reddy for a Cure! The Vancouver Chapter of the Canadian Cystic Fibrosis Foundation and Partners are planning this major fundraising event in August of 2011. To promote national and international awareness of Cystic Fibrosis (CF), 40 women will take to the ice and play one continuous hockey game, beating the current Guinness World Record by 65 minutes.
Funds raised through this event will go to the Canadian Cystic Fibrosis Foundation (CCFF) to support research aimed at helping people with CF, in the hopes of achieving the ultimate goal of finding a cure.
